About the African Muslim Information Centre of South Australia
The African Muslim Information Centre of South Australia serves as a unifying hub for African Muslim organisations, institutions, and communities across the state. Our mission is to foster consultation, cooperation, and unity on matters of Islamic and community affairs, creating a strong and connected network.

Our Mission
To foster unity and collaboration among African Muslim organisations and communities in South Australia, building strong relationships rooted in shared values. We aim to support African Muslims in practising Islam with confidence and without fear, empowering them to contribute positively to the broader Australian society.
The African Muslim Information Centre of South Australia (AMICSA) is dedicated to: Fostering Understanding: Enhancing awareness and understanding about Islam and Muslims in South Australia. Representation: Advocating for African Muslim communities at State and Federal government levels on key issues. Building Relationships: Strengthening connections with the wider community and contributing to the betterment of society. Providing Religious Services: Offering Islamic services aligned with teachings, traditions, and rites. Promoting Engagement: Organising and encouraging religious, cultural, and recreational activities for African Muslims. Education and Language: Establishing an ethnic school where children and adults can learn Arabic and deepen their understanding of Islam and its cultural heritage. Together, we strive to empower African Muslim communities, celebrate our shared values, and contribute meaningfully to Australian society. Join us in this mission!
